Every child begins with a comprehensive sensory evaluation to understand their unique sensory profile and functional needs. Depending on the child’s age and clinical presentation, our assessment process may include standardized and clinical tools such as the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT*), Sensory Profile 2, Sensory Processing Measure (SPM), and structured clinical observations of sensory-motor skills. These assessments help identify how a child processes sensory information and how it may affect learning, behavior, movement, self-regulation, and daily functioning.
Based on the assessment findings, our therapists develop an individualized intervention plan using play-based, child-led activities that provide the “just-right” sensory and motor challenges.
