Job Description: Behavioural Therapist
Position Summary
We are looking for a Behavioural Therapist to support children with behavioural, emotional, developmental, and social challenges through structured intervention programs and parent guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct parent consultations to understand behavioural concerns and developmental history.
- Develop individualized behaviour intervention plans with measurable short-term and long-term goals.
- Conduct one-on-one behavioural therapy sessions for children.
- Implement evidence-based behavioural strategies and reinforcement techniques.
- Guide and counsel parents regarding behaviour management techniques at home.
- Conduct monthly Parent-Therapist Meetings (PTMs) to discuss progress, concerns, and therapy goals.
- Maintain daily log sheets and session records of activities and behavioural observations.
- Monitor and document progress regularly.
- Prepare discharge reports and transition plans whenever necessary.
- Coordinate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and educators for integrated intervention plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Child Development, or related field.
- Certification/training in behavioural therapy or ABA preferred.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, behavioural disorders, or developmental delays preferred.
