Get Wrinkle Free Skin

Wrinkles are a common problem related to ageing. The collagen and elastin fibres in the skin start to diminish with age, causing the skin to sag and look old. But wrinkles can also appear prematurely due to a number of reasons like unhealthy lifestyle, environmental conditions, improper diet, lack of skin care and too much exposure to the sun. Here are a few tips which can offer you wrinkle free, soft and smooth skin.

Egg white

Packed with vitamins, an egg white has the ability to tighten the skin and prevent signs of ageing. To get rid of wrinkles, apply egg whites on the wrinkle prone areas. Leave for twenty minutes and wash with lukewarm water.

Avocado, flax seeds, honey and fresh cream

Mash half of an avocado into a fine paste. Add two teaspoons of flax seeds, one tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of fresh cream to the avocado paste. Mix thoroughly and apply on the skin. Rinse with cold water after an hour. The natural moisturizing properties and anti ageing elements in this mix help in keeping the skin refreshed and wrinkle free.

Papaya and banana

Grind a few pieces of papaya and banana. Spread this paste on the skin and wash with lukewarm water after twenty minutes. This home remedy is especially good for men. The nutrient rich banana is good for the skin and the elements in papaya cleanse and remove dead skin cells.

Balanced diet

Consuming a nutritious and balanced diet is especially important to maintain healthy wrinkle free skin and fight ageing. Try to include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, seeds and nuts in your diet.

Keep your body replenished by drinking a good amount of water or healthy drinks like fresh fruit juices, lime water and tender coconut water. Aim to drink at least eight glasses of water every day. This is essential to keep your skin hydrated.

Shun alcohol, smoking and caffeine

Avoid alcohol, smoking and caffeine as much as you can. Alcohol and caffeine can dehydrate the skin making it look dull and aged. Smoking affects collagen production in your body which leads to lack of skin elasticity.

Try to avoid going out when the sun shines at its best. If you go out, use a sunscreen which provides protection from the UVA rays of the sun.
