Job Description: Speech Language Pathologist (BASLP / MASLP)

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and support children with speech, language, communication, and feeding difficulties through individualized therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct parent consultations and gather detailed case histories.
  • Assess speech, language, communication, oral-motor, and feeding skills.
  • Develop individualized short-term and long-term therapy goals.
  • Conduct speech and language therapy sessions tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Guide parents on communication strategies and home activities.
  • Conduct monthly Parent-Therapist Meetings (PTMs) to discuss progress and future therapy planning.
  • Maintain therapy log sheets and session documentation.
  • Track progress through regular assessments and progress notes.
  • Prepare discharge summaries and recommendations when required.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, behavioural therapists, and educators for comprehensive child development support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing/Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid professional certification/license.
  • Experience working with children with speech delays, autism, ADHD, developmental disorders, or feeding difficulties preferred.
