Position Summary

TruHap Neuro Development Center is looking for a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Physiotherapist (BPT / MPT) to work with children with developmental, neurological, motor, and physical challenges. The role involves assessing children’s movement, posture, balance, coordination, strength, and functional abilities, and providing structured physiotherapy intervention to support their overall development and independence.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with children and should be able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Therapists, Psychologists, and Special Educators.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate children’s physical, motor, developmental, and functional needs.
• Identify concerns related to posture, balance, walking, muscle strength, coordination, and movement difficulties.
• Develop individualized pediatric physiotherapy intervention plans based on the child’s needs.
• Conduct one-on-one physiotherapy sessions for children.
• Support children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, motor delays, neurological conditions, postural concerns, gait issues, and physical disabilities.
• Work on improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, gross motor skills, and functional independence.
• Set short-term and long-term therapy goals for each child.
• Monitor the child’s progress and modify therapy plans when required.
• Guide parents/caregivers on home exercises, positioning, posture care, and activity-based support.
• Participate in Parent-Therapist Meetings to explain the child’s progress, therapy goals, and home program.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Therapists, Psychologists, and Special Educators for holistic child development.
• Maintain daily session notes, progress records, therapy plans, and documentation.
• Prepare progress reports and discharge reports when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy — BPT.
• Master’s degree in Physiotherapy — MPT preferred.
• Valid certification/licensure as per applicable regulations.
• Experience in pediatric physiotherapy, child development centers, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, or clinics will be an added advantage.

• Understanding of developmental milestones, motor delays, cerebral palsy, neurological conditions, and pediatric rehabilitation.
• Good clinical reasoning and child-handling skills.
• Ability to work patiently and sensitively with children and families.
• Good communication and parent-guidance skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
