Our Counseling Process
Getting To Know You
The first step includes relationship building, where we learn about the client as much as possible. This step may also involve case history taking. This is where we write down all the relevant points relating to the case. And try to come up with a diagnosis.
Assessments and Reports
Making the client take tests to get a basic understanding of the patients personality and the level of intensity of their problems
Sitting with the client and discussing the report and trying to come up with the best solutions. There may be a number of issues or disorders to tackle. Some may even involve medicine. A few common psychological issues are anxiety disorders, depression, anger explosion (which may be a symptom of underlying cause such as IED or BPD) and many others.
Making an action plan and executing it. This plan can have different modules of therapy depending on what works best with the client. A few types of therapy are CBT, REBT, DBT, BT and many more.
Beginning with the treatment and using trial and error to provide the best care to the client. This is not an easy step and it takes time to find what works best to each individual client.
