Upper Body Wonders


Don’t we all love to wear those strapless, one shoulder, sleeveless tops? But, hey what is that ugly thing popping out of the sleeve? Fat!

Girls, simply work on it. With a steady flow of exercises directed towards your upper body you can knock the fat on your upper body out of the park! We’re going to share with you a few exercises every now and then which you can rotate and use for your upper body.

Unsupported One Arm Dumbbell Row

You will need a set of 10 pound dumbbells. If you’re just starting out then, 7.5 pounds is good. You can do about three sets with 8-10 reps in each set.

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart.

  2. Grab a dumbbell and now slowly bend your knees and your hips and lower your torso to the floor, until it’s almost parallel to it.

  3. Keep the dumbbell at arm’s length.

  4. Now, lift the dumbbell and bring it to your torso, keeping your elbow tucked and without lifting or moving your torso. Now, release the dumbbell and repeat this 8-10 times on the right hand and then move it to the left hand.

You can increase the weight if you feel that 7.5 pounds aren’t sufficient. Do this move twice or thrice a week and you should see the difference in your back!
