Warm Water Compresses

The hot temperature in warm water compresses helps to increase blood circulation, reduce the size of the lump and soothe pain. Soak a towel in hot water and wring out the excess water. Keep the towel under your armpit for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat three to four times daily for a week.

Massage raw honey on the lump thrice a day and wash with warm water after ten minutes. You could also add a teaspoon of honey to a cup of warm water or green tea and drink it several times for a few days.

Lemon Juice

Being a natural astringent, lemon juice can do wonders to heal an armpit lump. Apply a ball of cotton soaked in lemon juice on the lump. Wait for twenty minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Drinking a glass of honey lemon water twice a day is also good for bringing down swelling and pain.
