Stir fried Broccoli tossed with low fat cream



  • 1 cup Broccoli florets

  • 1 cup mushrooms

  • 1 cup diced paneer(cottage cheese)

  • Few crushed walnuts

  • Low fat cream

  • 4 pods of chopped garlic

  • Red chilli flakes

  • Oregano

  • 2 tsps of oil

  • Salt to taste



  • Heat oil in a pan and stir fry, broccoli florets, mushrooms, diced paneer(cottage cheese) for a few minutes each(don’t fry for a longer time as there would be a loss of nutrients or you may also steam cook the broccoli florets) separately one after the other and keep it aside.

  • Then add a tad bit of oil to the same pan, sauté chopped garlic and then add slightly stir fried or steam cooked broccoli, mushrooms and paneer(cottage cheese).

  • Sprinkle red chilli flakes, oregano, salt to taste and drizzle a little bit of low fat cream over it and remove from heat.

  • Finally, top your healthy and delicious stir fried broccoli with crushed walnuts.
