Nourish Your Skin With Almonds(Badam)

Got dull and dry skin or oily and greasy skin? Whatever your skin troubles are, rejuvenate yourself with the numerous health and beauty benefits of almond. Packed with the power to do wonders for your skin; these almond face packs can reduce dark circles, wrinkles and fine lines and decrease acne, pimples and scars. The vitamin E content in almond also helps in keeping age at bay.

For oily skin

Soak about ten almonds overnight and grind into a fine paste in the morning. Add a teaspoon of honey to this paste, mix well and apply on your face. Let it dry for fifteen minutes and wash with cold water to get oil free clear skin.

For dry skin

Grind five almonds and two tablespoons of oats into a fine powder. Make this into a smooth paste by adding a teaspoon of honey and two tablespoons of yogurt. Spread this paste on the face and neck, leave for fifteen minutes and rinse well. Do this twice a week to get relief from dryness.​

For dry skin, dark circles and pigmentation

Soak eight to ten almonds overnight. Peel the skin, add two tablespoons of milk and blend into a smooth paste. Apply this paste all over the face and neck, and leave for twenty minutes before rinsing with cold water.

For pigmentation and blemishes

Take three almonds and a few strands of saffron and soak them in milk. Refrigerate overnight, remove the almond skin in the morning and grind well to make a paste. Add some gram flour to this paste, mix well and apply on the face. Wash immediately after it dries to get fair and glowing skin.

For soft skin

Grind soaked almonds into an even paste by adding rose water. Apply the paste on the face and neck. Wash with lukewarm water once the paste dries completely. Do this twice a week to get super soft skin.

For even skin tone

Make a paste of milk and five soaked almonds. Add half a mashed banana and a few drops of rose water to the paste and mix well. Spread on the face and neck, leave it to dry and wash off. This pack is suitable for all skin types.

As a smoothing scrub

Grind a few almonds to a coarse powder. Make a smooth paste of a few pieces of papaya. Add the ground almonds to the papaya paste along with some milk cream, honey and gram flour. Mix well and apply on the face as a scrub. Rinse after ten minutes.
