Bitter Gourd Fry

Bitter Gourd: 1 cup finely chopped

Green Chillies: 4 finely chopped

Spring Onions: 1 cup finely chopped

Curry Leaves: 2 spoons finely chopped

Turmeric: 1 teaspoon

Red chilli powder: 1 tablespoon

Salt to taste

Garam masala powder: 1 tablespoon

Oil: 2 tablespoons



1. Heat oil in a pan and add turmeric to it.


2. Add finely chopped bitter gourd pieces.


3. Mix the pieces in the middle keeping the lid open.

4. Once it is half fried, add spring onions and finely chopped green chillies and fry them again till they become brown.


5. Finally add salt, red-chilli powder and garam masala and stir for some time and put off the flame.
